To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Lukasz Knopek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miastostumostuf™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chacarita1969 the free kick. If Everardo Hondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Gamza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aleksander Gamza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Abaurre having to make a save. After having played for 90 minutes, Lukasz Knopek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miastostumostuf™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukasz Knopek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miastostumostuf™'s Lukasz Knopek got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Lukasz Knopek off the ground. In the 94th minute, Lukasz Knopek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Adolfo Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Ludwiczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The chacarita1969 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing chacarita1969 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
