Cem Dervişoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Josef Drewitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Ediz Tanbek was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. FC Blueskatterna's Folke Arvidsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC Blueskatterna from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josef Drewitz went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Folke Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sinan Ağaoğlu in the 12th minute. Ahmet Tolga Kılıçer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Folke Arvidsson made a huge save. Josef Drewitz scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Ediz Tanbek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Blueskatterna's Joseph Forsberg. But to his dismay, Joseph Forsberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Joseph Forsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Ediz Tanbek. Geçkinli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Forsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Pelle Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FC Blueskatterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Kalfhage couldn't finish the play. Geçkinli's Mehmet Ediz Tanbek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Drewitz in the 33rd minute of play. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Glanselius in the 41st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Josef Drewitz put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Ediz Tanbek. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Josef Drewitz made the kick off in the second half. Roger Glanselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Geçkinli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkan Eygül to maneuver through the defense. Cem Dervişoğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Folke Arvidsson. 1-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Joseph Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Blueskatterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Forsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Glanselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Axel Tönnberg came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Blueskatterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tönnberg couldn't finish the play. If Joseph Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork Joseph Forsberg arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-8 by the left pole in the game's 76th minute. Axel Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ediz Tanbek having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Blueskatterna's Roger Glanselius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Ediz Tanbek. That made the score 1-9 after 84 minutes of play. Pelle Kalfhage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Ediz Tanbek having to make a save. FC Blueskatterna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
