Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimos Stratikis in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koulis Kalimanis in the 12th minute of play. Koulis Kalimanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Calvino having to interfere. Theodosis Kassapis was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Martin Hurko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Hurko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Fausto Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimos Stratikis in the 27th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Koulis Kalimanis.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adan Gonsalvo made a kick off. When Adan Gonsalvo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Rafaela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Gonsalvo couldn't finish the play. Theodosis Kassapis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Gonsalvo in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Teobaldo Orlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafaela FC and the Green Horses players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Teobaldo Orlo got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 61 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Sotiris Barberopoulos. In the 61st minute of the match Adan Gonsalvo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theodosis Kassapis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Juan Perpinya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rafaela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Horses the free kick. Prospero Calvino was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fausto Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Theodosis Kassapis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Martin Hurko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Fausto Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Timo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Periklis Zorbadelos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prospero Calvino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimos Stratikis came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes, Konstantinos Caballeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Horses and the Rafaela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Caballeiro. It was beautiful to see Rafaela FC's Martin Hurko in action when he in the 84th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 87th minute Koulis Kalimanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Green Horses booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Gonsalvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimos Stratikis, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Rafaela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Green Horses's performance. The match ended with a win for Green Horses.
