Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Sociedad Anónima's Nuno Mazorra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Zornin Colunga got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Matxin Uceda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herensuge Villafranca scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lúcio Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herensuge Villafranca in the 13th minute. Zornin Colunga's late challenge caught a Minuim SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zornin Colunga helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Brodel didn't quite understand what happened when in the 16 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 29 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Pacho Cando. Matxin Uceda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Queiroz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Célio Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Matxin Uceda. Sociedad Anónima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Herensuge Villafranca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Minuim SS got a freekick which was hit by Lino de Toledo. When Herensuge Villafranca came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sociedad Anónima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herensuge Villafranca couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Demario Mancina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Salgado was the one to do the kick off. Lúcio Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Mazorra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matxin Uceda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sociedad Anónima's Demario Mancina got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Demario Mancina off the ground. Demario Mancina hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Herensuge Villafranca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sociedad Anónima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minuim SS the free kick. Herensuge Villafranca kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sociedad Anónima made a substitution. Ubarna Huertas replaced Herensuge Villafranca. After 77 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Herensuge Villafranca. 80 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Matxin Uceda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vito Ribeiro. The supporters of Minuim SS booed when Sociedad Anónima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raulo Pachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Sociedad Anónima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislao Talaga to maneuver through the defense. Matxin Uceda was a little too slow when Clemente Salgado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-2. Minuim SS played a much better game than Sociedad Anónima and deserved their victory. The Sociedad Anónima players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
