The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fazıl Hüsnü Akburç during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Khalkedon FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazıl Hüsnü Akburç to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by German Isaio in the 18th minute really tested Vacid Akyazıcı's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 24 minutes, Albano Nazario made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Nazario in the 28th minute of play forced Khalkedon FK's goalkeeper Vacid Akyazıcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Saturnino Iturri hit a great ball. Ayhan İnciroğlu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Jakue. Mateo Jakue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mateo Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayhan İnciroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Cordaryal in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Albano Nazario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı. Khalkedon FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Nazario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ayhan İnciroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Isaio in the 63rd minute of play forced Khalkedon FK's goalkeeper Vacid Akyazıcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Aquilino Mon got a free kick in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Victor Cordaryal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esmeralda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khalkedon FK the free kick. After 69 played minutes Esmeralda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Cordaryal. After having played for 75 minutes, Javier Hermelando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esmeralda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Hermelando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, German Isaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esmeralda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khalkedon FK the free kick.
