The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto Mineiro during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nitra FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Guto Mineiro hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Casey Bator came free, but Davi Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erivaldo Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Andrew Hyde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Guto Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Hyde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when FC ARK CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Deeney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerson Araújo had several of the FC ARK CS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Andrew Hyde as he didn't even see the shot coming. Guto Mineiro was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Guto Mineiro got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Gerson Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nitra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ARK CS the free kick. After 31 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Araújo. Casey Bator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Prestes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Searle in the 37th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Davi Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Nitra FC's Davi Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Bator in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Searle in the 42nd minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Davi Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casey Bator in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Prestes saved Nitra FC from getting behind. Davi Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Bator, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casey Bator to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gerson Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Nitra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Araújo couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Gerson Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrew Hyde. FC ARK CS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerson Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 57th minute, Nicholas Searle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerson Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Andrew Hyde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casey Bator in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júnior Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Hyde having to interfere. Gerson Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerson Araújo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Andrew Hyde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nitra FC. If Júnior Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nitra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ARK CS the free kick. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ARK CS's goalkeeper Andrew Hyde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerson Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Andrew Hyde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nitra FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
