Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilhelm Brander started the match with the kick off. Daniel Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Maston in the 5th minute of play. Nicholas Kellaway scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Stephansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Pierre Maston got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Jonas Heggert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Stephansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Maston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Kellaway in the 23rd minute of play forced Grimsås IF's goalkeeper Daniel Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Maston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wilhelm Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjörn Sjö was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 32 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Sjö was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grimsås IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester City the free kick. Torbjörn Sjö hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Manchester City's Pierre Maston got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Pierre Maston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Richard Thornton hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goalkeeper Duncan Auckland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Wennerlund. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre Maston in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Stephansson saved Grimsås IF from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Evert Wennerlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Brander came free, but Duncan Auckland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Grimsås IF's Daniel Stephansson got control of the ball when Nicholas Kellaway tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pierre Maston who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Stephansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 played minutes Nicholas Kellaway rounded Grimsås IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. 74 minutes into the match, Grimsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Kellaway came free, but Daniel Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Grimsås IF getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Emil Groth hit a great ball. Torbjörn Sjö hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Daniel Stephansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre Maston's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Nicholas Kellaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Sjö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duncan Auckland having to make a save. Julian Castleton kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Calum Longstaffe hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
