Nahia Serna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Schooters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luix Alzaga having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's Bernt Artois sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luix Alzaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Intxixu Sampayo got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Intxixu Sampayo. Nuno Tovilleja kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Bernt Artois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luix Alzaga having to interfere. After 43 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Michel Schooters. In the 46th minute, Michel Schooters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Schooters to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Granolles's late challenge caught a SK Gullegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Granolles helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Metanse el Sim por culo got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Granolles. Bernt Artoiss short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Luix Alzaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Freek Van Hoyvelt got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Zabal Araoz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SK Gullegem's Constantijn van Eycken didn't even have to move. Ikatz Almuzara scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantijn van Eycken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Metanse el Sim por culo booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freek Van Hoyvelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ikatz Almuzara kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Bernt Artois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantijn van Eycken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zabal Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Nahia Serna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantijn van Eycken having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabal Araoz in the 95th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Constantijn van Eycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
