Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armand Bernage started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Armand Bernage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Fribäck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arthur Caes came out and tried to block the shot, but Folke Fribäck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. A collision led to Fauna Utd getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jakob Colpaert hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Herbert Lagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Gudhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Hultin to maneuver through the defense. Armand Bernage took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The long shot by Birger Rydelius in the 16th minute really tested Arthur Caes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 19th minute, Herbert Lagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Armand Bernage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mike Vandamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Vandamme came free, but Sverker Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Caes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Dahlberg in the 33rd minute of play. Arthur Caes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's Armand Bernage sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sverker Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Giles Verduin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Billy Dahlberg made a kick off. Johnny Hultin charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Hultin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johnny Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Armand Bernage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Sverker Lindgren made a huge save. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Gudhem from getting a goal against them. Samuel Sundberg's late challenge caught a Fauna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Sundberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Gudhem got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Sundberg. Rens vrolijx hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Mike Vandamme's late challenge caught a Gudhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mike Vandamme helped the player get up and apologised. Mike Vandamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Lindgren having to interfere. Jakob Colpaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Lindgren having to interfere. Sverker Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Vandamme in the 77th minute of play. Sverker Lindgren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Sverker Lindgren came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fauna Utd's Armand Bernage. But to his dismay, Armand Bernage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some careless play in the Fauna Utd defense, Valter Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur Caes. The Fauna Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur Caes should have stopped the shot. Fauna Utd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
