After 15 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Isadore. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio de Souza during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antônio de Souza hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Proença to maneuver through the defense. Sandrinho Quintal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Isadore in the 40th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wesley Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thomás Tepedino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Maverick Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thomás Tepedino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 88th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Carabata Groove's Ulises Ipar got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
