An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Cavalcante in the 4th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Arturo Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GeRaÇãO-83's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquín Montalvo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Armando Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Joaquín Montalvo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yan Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquín Montalvo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquín Montalvo in the 22nd minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Yan Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valerio Zayas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute Joaquín Montalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valerio Zayas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Arturo Ferrer was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Víktor Cavalcante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Víktor Cavalcante really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Arnaldo Neiva made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Víktor Cavalcante immediately put the ball in play. Jules Noriega hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Yan Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquín Montalvo in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Tales Valladares got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A collision led to Club Atlético Lea Papá getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Arnie Ocaña hit a great ball. GeRaÇãO-83's Ricardinho Pereira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atlético Lea Papá. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Armando Soeiro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Joaquín Montalvo came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yan Salles could save by the left post. If Joaquín Montalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, GeRaÇãO-83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Yan Salles was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Valerio Zayas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valerio Zayas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Domingo Andrews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Salles having to interfere. In the 87th minute Club Atlético Lea Papá were awarded a corner. Johnny Reyes went to the cornerflag to take it. When Domingo Andrews came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Club Atlético Lea Papá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Andrews couldn't finish the play.
