After some careless play in the AKS Kozienice defense, Lucjan Czech kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Hodas. The AKS Kozienice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Hodas should have stopped the shot. Piast Choszczno's Radomir Tusk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Piast Choszczno from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, AKS Kozienice's Radowit Wierzcholek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomir Tusk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dariusz Hodass short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Radomir Tusk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. AKS Kozienice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukasz Blochowiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Piast Choszczno left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AKS Kozienice.
