Robert Zawaski hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Milan Pogoń's goal looked a bit too open when Alojz Remeš came free, but Norbert Sobania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Alojz Remeš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Sobania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Václav Abrahám left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moneyball fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd minute Alojz Remeš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Sobania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Milan Pogoń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Wietrzychowski to maneuver through the defense. Karel Lev struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Norbert Sobania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moneyball. After a rather tough play, Moneyball's Alfons Kuhn got a free kick in the 31st minute. Norbert Sobania showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Václav Abrahám, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Václav Abrahám shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Sobania showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Václav Abrahám was the one to do the kick off. Václav Abrahám scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norbert Sobania, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Norbert Sobania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Václav Abrahám in the 55th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Milan Pogoń got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Bronkala. With a little luck, Milan Pogoń's Norbert Sobania got control of the ball when Alojz Remeš tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Burget kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Milan Pogoń's Wit Barowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Václav Abrahám took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Sobania. Norbert Sobania dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 73rd minute Karel Lev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Sobania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Václav Abrahám in the 78th minute of play forced Milan Pogoń's goalkeeper Norbert Sobania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Moneyball's Alojz Remeš dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Milan Pogoń:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moneyball:s goal. In the 85th minute, Moneyball's Karel Lev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norbert Sobania. Norbert Sobania yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Kilar in the 92nd minute of play forced Moneyball's goalkeeper Miroslav Kubálek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Lev in the 97th minute of play forced Milan Pogoń's goalkeeper Norbert Sobania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moneyball played a much better game than Milan Pogoń and deserved their victory. The Milan Pogoń players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
