Gilberto Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Václav Abrahám in the 15th minute of the match. Karel Lev scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Rosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alojz Remeš in the 19th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gilberto Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Václav Abrahám made a kick off. Gilberto Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Kuhn in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Karel Lev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Rosa. The goal made the score 0-5. After a rather tough play, Moneyball's Garry Kasparov got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gilberto Rosa was a little too slow when Alojz Remeš got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-6. Gilberto Rosa was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Václav Abrahám capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Václav Abrahám really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Gilberto Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel Lev, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Moneyball booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Karel Lev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Rosa. Joinville United - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karel Lev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. A collision led to Moneyball getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Karel Lev hit a great ball. When Karel Lev fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moneyball's protests and gave Karel Lev a yellow card for diving instead. Karel Lev hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Václav Abrahám received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilberto Rosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Václav Abrahám slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 94th minute. The Moneyball supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Moneyball would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
