After a rather tough play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Damian Gumaro got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Calistrat Boc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Julio Olarticoechea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Panțâru. Aristide Mârzac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nae Braica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Niva having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, FC Berea's Calistrat Boc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Niva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Elvio Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Boc in the 19th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elvio Niva. Elvio Niva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Edgar Panțâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Elvio Niva made a huge save. Leonides Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Edgar Panțâru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 played minutes Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Veronica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Boc in the 44th minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Elvio Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Panțâru to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Panțâru came free, but Elvio Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Veronica's late challenge caught a FC Berea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Veronica helped the player get up and apologised. Silvestre Veronica kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Edgar Panțâru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Berea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Panțâru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Batista struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Aristide Mârzac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ. Mădălin Săliştean hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Jeremias Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Braica in the 67th minute of the match. When Carmelo Brais fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's protests and gave Carmelo Brais a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Berea booed when Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Napier came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aristide Mârzac could save by the left post. In the 78th match minute, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Brais to maneuver through the defense. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Elvio Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Boc in the 82nd minute of play. Aristide Mârzac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Baristo in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Bruno Baristo got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Mădălin Săliştean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Batista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aristide Mârzac, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Berea fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
