After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Călin Onuț got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Edgar Panțâru hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The supporters of Expresso Ranelagh booed when FC Berea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Boacă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Gigi Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Expresso Ranelagh getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Celedonio Ferman hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Expresso Ranelagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Sayveon to maneuver through the defense. Expresso Ranelagh's Evelio Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Onuț in the 18th minute of play. Carolo Sayveon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Carolo Sayveons short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Aristide Mârzac to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Evelio Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Arotăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Austin during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With 37 minutes on the clock, Mauro Silvino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Expresso Ranelagh's Mauro Silvino got a free kick in the 38th minute. Evelio Seber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Boc in the 40th minute of the match. When Tomás Seme came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Expresso Ranelagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Seme couldn't finish the play. FC Berea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Tomás Seme scored to the left of an out of position Aristide Mârzac, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tomás Seme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Raimundo Iruinea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Expresso Ranelagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Berea the free kick. Tomás Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Mârzac having to interfere. Raimundo Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aristide Mârzac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Sayveon hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Călin Onuț managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Berea's supporters rose to their feet, but Călin Onuț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Seber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calistrat Boc kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Aristide Mârzac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Cebo in the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Berea defense, Tomás Seme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Mârzac. The FC Berea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Mârzac should have stopped the shot. After 90 minutes of play, Expresso Ranelagh's Tomás Seme made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristide Mârzac was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 minutes, Gigi Ardeleanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Berea and the Expresso Ranelagh players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gigi Ardeleanu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Raimundo Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aristide Mârzac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristide Mârzac came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Expresso Ranelagh's Tomás Seme. But to his dismay, Tomás Seme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. FC Berea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
