Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Igor Elizardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Samuel Mercurio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boulogne F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria FC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Fabian Jenaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Pueblo in the 14th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Constantino Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Elizardo in the 16th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Kaxen came free, but Ladislao Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Ruperto Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Ibon in the 32nd minute of play. Constantino Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Constantino Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Jenaro in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Boulogne F.C.'s Samuel Mercurio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Paublo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Igor Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Samuel Mercurio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Samuel Mercurio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Geronimo Kaxen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ladislao Nesto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Boulogne F.C.'s Ladislao Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne F.C. from getting a goal against them. Nemesio Bemabe charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Bemabe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Bemabe. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Boulogne F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Kaxen during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Kaxen to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Benito Pueblo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo. Constantino Paublo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Ibon got free with Ladislao Nesto in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Benito Pueblo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nemesio Bemabe came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Bemabe couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Fabian Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 minutes, Mateo Bertran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Boulogne F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute Geronimo Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boulogne F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Candelaria FC for a fine match.
