A collision led to Pretorianos FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cornelio Gabirel hit a great ball. Ian McVey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jorge Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Alderson in the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Cornelio Gabirel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pretorianos FC and the Smiddy Celts players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pretorianos FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cornelio Gabirel hit a great ball. Jorge Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciaran McGill, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ian McVey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Gaufred in the 27th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Smiddy Celts's Robbie McAdam made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Estevez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denis Gaufred hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Pretorianos FC's Jorge Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Alderson in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Jorge Estevez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie McAdam. A sloppy throw-in by Stewart Donlevy in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pretorianos FC's Jorge Furman. Thanks to some nice moves Ciaran McGill could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Jorge Estevez however easily saved by the left post. Denis Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pretorianos FC! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Lázaro Sayvion made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Lázaro Sayvion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pretorianos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Sayvion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Smiddy Celts's James McRurie in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pretorianos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th match minute, Pretorianos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. Pretorianos FC's Jorge Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciaran McGill in the 62nd minute of play. Robbie McAdam took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Estevez. Jorge Estevez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 73 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Alderson came free, but Jorge Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciaran McGill in the 75th minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Jorge Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Pretorianos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Smiddy Celts:s goal. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Smiddy Celts. Les Limond stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorge Estevez. 5-0. In the 82nd minute, Ciaran McGill made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Estevez. Pretorianos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pretorianos FC's zone, Ciaran McGill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Estevez came out of the goal and Ciaran McGill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Artaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Artaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pretorianos FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Primitivo Artaldo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciaran McGill in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Estevez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Ciaran McGill put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Estevez. Gavino Felipo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Jorge Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Alderson in the 99th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pretorianos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Smiddy Celts.
