Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) FC Bredene's Arnaud Schouters started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match, Arnaud Schouters got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filip Raszek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pierre Maerschalck hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Wiktor Tscherner came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Tscherner couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Dany-Adams Wauters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Raszek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's goalkeeper Filip Raszek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaud Schouters. 29 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Tscherner came free, but Paul Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dany-Adams Wauters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbyszko Sokol during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zbyszko Sokol kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Zbyszko Sokol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Himschoot having to interfere. When Radowit Prokowski fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's protests and gave Radowit Prokowski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Radowit Prokowski got a free kick in the 46th minute.

52 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Sokol came free, but Paul Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Tscherner in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Paul Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Wiktor Tscherner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Tscherner in the 70th minute of play. Wiktor Tscherner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Paul Himschoot made a huge save. ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Filip Raszek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud Schouters in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 defense, Dany-Adams Wauters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Raszek. The ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Raszek should have stopped the shot. ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
