Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulão Valladares kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, FC NORDLAND's Erik Hedbom got control of the ball when Gildo Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wictor Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Murilo Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urban Löv was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wictor Hansson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fernando Batista saved Salvador Futebol Clube from getting behind. A collision led to Salvador Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Paulão Valladares hit a great ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Wictor Hansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salvador Futebol Clube's Luís Fernando Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Fernando Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Wictor Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Salvador Futebol Clube's Paulão Valladares in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC NORDLAND's goalie prevented a goal. Luís Fernando Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Salvador Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Klintæus struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Luís Fernando Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC NORDLAND. Wictor Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Salvador Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Hansson came free, but Luís Fernando Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wictor Hansson to make the kick off. The supporters of Salvador Futebol Clube booed when FC NORDLAND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Klintæus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
