In the 3rd match minute, Ernesto Guevara SyD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Inocente to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ernesto Guevara SyD's zone, Vanyo Girov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Belasko came out of the goal and Vanyo Girov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rumen Rubiev hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Luis Etxepare broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cup2's Vanyo Girov got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rusi Elitzin fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cup2's protests and gave Rusi Elitzin a yellow card for diving instead. Rusi Elitzin kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match, Vanyo Girov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nunez Belasko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dragomir Bivolarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Nunez Belasko made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Martin Kashchiev sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Martin Kashchiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cup2's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Kashchiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Belasko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vanyo Girov to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ivan Tabakov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Belasko. Ernesto Guevara SyD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Tabakov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ivan Atauri hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Ivan Tabakov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nunez Belasko skillfully saved the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Vanyo Girov notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ernesto Guevara SyD's Nunez Belasko. Nunez Belasko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Nunez Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Kamberov in the 63rd minute of play. Martin Kashchiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Martin Kashchiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Tabakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Slaveyko Benatov got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cup2 were furious when Rusi Elitzin was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Rusi Elitzin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Luis Etxepare tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Vanyo Girov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cup2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Edgard Afonso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Ernesto Guevara SyD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Afonso in the 87th minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Dragomir Bivolarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Vanyo Girov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ernesto Guevara SyD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cup2.
