The referee ignored Cebollas's protests and gave Octavio Grau a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Cebollas got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Grau. In the 6th minute of the match Celso Harriet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bastia Segarra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 7 in the game by Zahar Castaño from a close distance when the talented Generoso Nabar managed to make a qualified save. La Banda del Tinto's players were relieved. In the last second Generoso Nabar throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zavier Domenech in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 11 minutes into the game, La Banda del Tinto's Celso Harriet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bastia Segarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th match minute, La Banda del Tinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Pancho to maneuver through the defense. Zahar Castaño in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Generoso Nabar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zahar Castaño's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Generoso Nabar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Pancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastia Segarra was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Cebollas's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Chus came free, but Bastia Segarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Pancho struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bastia Segarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Banda del Tinto. Bastia Segarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Justino Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastia Segarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celso Harriet fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience was convinced that Celso Harriet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastia Segarra was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Cebollas's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Harriet came free, but Bastia Segarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the La Banda del Tinto defense, Zavier Domenech kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Nabar. The La Banda del Tinto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Nabar should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zavier Domenech to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play Cebollas's Octavio Grau was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Octavio Grau hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zavier Domenech in the 55th minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Generoso Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zavier Domenech in the 56th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Zavier Domenech made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Nabar. La Banda del Tinto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Cebollas's Madeo Ribas got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Pancho in the 67th minute of play forced Cebollas's goalkeeper Bastia Segarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Jacinto Pancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cebollas's Bastia Segarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zavier Domenech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Generoso Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zavier Domenech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Nabar having to interfere. Bastia Segarra made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Justino Chus sent off a good shot on target. La Banda del Tinto's Jacinto Pancho got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bastia Segarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of La Banda del Tinto booed when Cebollas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zavier Domenech didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Chus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Bastia Segarra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Celso Harriet took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastia Segarra. Bastia Segarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 94 played minutes Cebollas got a freekick which was hit by Zahar Castaño. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
