When Maayan Gaál was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. In the 15th minute, Maayan Gaál hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Mel during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Tony Izzard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Garry Beaver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alfonso Mel got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garry Beaver in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valhalla Time's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tony Izzard was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. Valencia C.F.'s Tony Izzard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel Comizzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the game, Zackary Jenkins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valencia C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valhalla Time the free kick. The supporters of Valhalla Time booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zackary Jenkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Greg Blackburn. In the 41st minute Garry Beaver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Eduino was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Zackary Jenkins got a free kick in the 51st minute. Mário Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Comizzo having to interfere. Tony Izzard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley Kerr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garry Beaver scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Comizzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Marshall to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, David Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Valencia C.F. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
