Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victoriano Silban started the match with the kick off. A collision led to MOEBIO getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Evelio Pacho hit a great ball. Carlos Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Balasi having to interfere. Ceferino Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Silban in the 19th minute of play. Leopoldo Erlantz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niceto Tabor came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Erlantz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Efrain Mateo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, one of MOEBIO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MOEBIO. Niceto Tabor had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Victoriano Burutzagi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolando Reynardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niceto Tabor. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. The supporters of MOEBIO booed when Newpi Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Otsoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Silban in the 45th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Ceferino Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Erlantz to make the kick off. Niceto Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Reynardo in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Silban got free with Ceferino Balasi in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lázaro Librado charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Librado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Librado. MOEBIO's Siro Asur shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ceferino Balasi but with some difficulty. In the 65th minute, Rolando Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Maximino Eguerdi got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ceferino Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Asur, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ceferino Balasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Urti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Victoriano Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. MOEBIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Balasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victoriano Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Asur's late challenge caught a MOEBIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Asur helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Niceto Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Burutzagi in the 82nd minute of play. Fernando Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Ceferino Balasi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Silban. Niceto Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Reynardo in the 93rd minute of the match. Clemente Neron kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Newpi Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while MOEBIO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
