Sten Galle lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 9 minutes into the game, one of LA VIOLA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Stig Byström had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Victoriano Burutzagi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Stig Byström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Reynardo in the 15th minute. Newpi Academy's Ceferino Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Rönn in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Rolando Reynardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Byström came out of the goal and Rolando Reynardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alfons Rönn came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Rönn couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Uno Lindkvist got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Stig Byström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Erlantz. Alfons Rönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA VIOLA's Stig Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Erlantz in the 35th minute of play. Clemente Neron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Stig Byström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stig Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Neron in the 39th minute of play. Jan-Åke Termander's late challenge caught a Newpi Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Åke Termander helped the player get up and apologised. Jan-Åke Termander kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Fernando Asur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newpi Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA VIOLA the free kick. Fernando Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lázaro Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Alfons Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA VIOLA's Stig Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Neron in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Leopoldo Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Byström came out of the goal and Leopoldo Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino Balasi made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Uno Lindkvist sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newpi Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uno Lindkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time LA VIOLA's players had a chance to rest. Uno Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ceferino Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LA VIOLA's Stig Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Burutzagi in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Gustafsson in the 80th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Ceferino Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Termander kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Rönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Reynardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ceferino Balasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Rönn in the 94th minute.
