When Kurt Rosen came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the S.C. Ferrari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Rosen couldn't finish the play. João Carlos Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Mello in the 23rd minute of the match. Wilton Paraibano's late challenge caught a Misericordia EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilton Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Wilton Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Oliveira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Misericordia EC's Caetano Mattos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Beto Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualter Luz was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Beto Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Ferrari's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, one of Misericordia EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Misericordia EC:s Gualter Luz showed great skill when he stopped Kurt Rosen:s penalty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Beto Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misericordia EC's Gualter Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Beto Guedes sped through Misericordia EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gualter Luz. Beto Guedess short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Gualter Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. S.C. Ferrari's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt Rosen in the 69th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Beto Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misericordia EC's Gualter Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Lucas. After 73 played minutes, S.C. Ferrari's Kurt Rosen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualter Luz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Ferrari reached it. When Elano Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the S.C. Ferrari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Galvão couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Guedes in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualter Luz saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Misericordia EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kurt Rosen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Geovanni Lucas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Gualter Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto Guedes's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When S.C. Ferrari's Beto Guedes in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Misericordia EC's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.C. Ferrari had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
