Ramos Roncesvalles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Nordström hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Vedeja in the 4th minute of play forced Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Thor Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vännäsby BF's Thor Frykberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Vedeja in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Åke Olsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vännäsby BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Reign the free kick. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vännäsby BF! When Bagui Caneiro fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Reign's protests and gave Bagui Caneiro a yellow card for diving instead. Thor Frykberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uzuri Graña in the 30th minute. A hard shot 35 in the game by Sandro Gener from a close distance when the talented Thor Frykberg managed to make a qualified save. Vännäsby BF's players were relieved. German Vedeja struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Thor Frykberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Reign. In the 44th minute, Esteban Boñal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Reign's Edwin Palmer was substituted for Bagui Caneiro. Red Reign's Bohórquez Erauzquin was substituted for German Vedeja. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ramos Roncesvalles made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Petter Hjortberg sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Gener came free, but Thor Frykberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Balbin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Reign's Sandro Gener got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Sandro Gener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Frykberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Sandro Gener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Thor Frykberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Red Reign's Ramos Roncesvalles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Broberg in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Osorio Puerto had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Ek during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, one of Vännäsby BF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Red Reign. Sandro Gener stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thor Frykberg. 3-1. Bohórquez Erauzquin took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thor Frykberg. Thor Frykberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Thor Frykberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Red Reign's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
