The supporters of FISHBONE 06 booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okan Buruk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Edubekir Hercegovac sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asım Usman skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to FISHBONE 06 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Edubekir Hercegovac hit a great ball. Veselin Pejović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Golo Machinam in the 22nd minute. Asım Usman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kahro Branković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Mugdim Kalajdžić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asım Usman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, FISHBONE 06's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Nafiz Ökmener came free, but Veselin Pejović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Aha Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FISHBONE 06's Veselin Pejović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faruk Nafiz Ökmener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Aha Gol got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Koray Egesel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. In the 43rd match minute, CAN ERZURUM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koray Egesel to maneuver through the defense. When Bogoljub Ristić came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FISHBONE 06 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogoljub Ristić couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Asım Usman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

CAN ERZURUM's Hakkı Deniz Yerlikaya was substituted for Okan Buruk. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aha Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. CAN ERZURUM's Asım Usman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kahro Branković in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CAN ERZURUM had won after a very even match.
