When Tord Vennerdal fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Protegéerna's protests and gave Tord Vennerdal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tord Vennerdal hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Amaral came free, but Thomas Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackie Chana in the 26th minute of play. Thomas Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Safadão in the 28th minute of the match. CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's Jackie Chana got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chuck Bomba in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Lind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's Betão de Andrade got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ruy Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Lind having to interfere. Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA the free kick. The supporters of CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Erling Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA. Ruy Amaral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thomas Lind. 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Hultin to strike the kick off in the second half. Betão de Andrade hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Fred Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Hultin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thomas Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackie Chana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruy Amaral got free with Thomas Lind in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Roy Bennet got a free kick in the 70th minute. Thomas Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Amaral in the 74th minute of play. After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, Wesley Safadão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Lind. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Lind should have stopped the shot. Protegéerna's Thomas Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Safadão in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes Protegéerna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruy Amaral who took care of the corner kick. The corner led CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's Ruy Amaral to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Lind despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Protegéerna's Thomas Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackie Chana in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jackie Chana in the 92nd minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Thomas Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. After 97 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Lundström. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
