The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gil Simões hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Percival de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caio Coutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PLURAL's Caio Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival de Toledo in the 11th minute of play. PLURAL's Caio Coutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save PLURAL from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Altino Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Coutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Régis Dante went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 30thth minute of the game Régis Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLURAL's Caio Coutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caio Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Dante in the 32nd minute of play. Romando Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Cordeiro in the 33rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Régis Dante managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Régis Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Régis Dante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Percival de Toledo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes PLURAL got a freekick which was hit by Leal Figueiredo. When Augusto Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romando Futebol Clube's protests and gave Augusto Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Cordeiro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Régis Dante made a kick off. Caio Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Dante in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Régis Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Romando Futebol Clube's Régis Dante in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Régis Dante scored 4-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caio Coutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caio Coutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Dante's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes, Leal Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PLURAL and the Romando Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when PLURAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leal Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. PLURAL's Leal Figueiredo got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Leal Figueiredo off the ground. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when PLURAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leal Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Régis Dante notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of PLURAL's Caio Coutinho. Caio Coutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Romando Futebol Clube's Eugênio Paranaense in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. PLURAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Romao having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Romando Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while PLURAL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
