Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5772, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Paddy Shackleton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute of the match Cheeky Nuts United got a corner. Staffy Terrier FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Øyvind Vestøl ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cheeky Nuts United's Øyvind Vestøl to fire away a dangerous shot which Niall Deacon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paddy Shackleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stian Hammeren took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niall Deacon. Niall Deacon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 played minutes Staffy Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Weir. Niall Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Systad in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Cheeky Nuts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stian Hammeren to maneuver through the defense. Jeff Weir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Morten Ueland made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Staffy Terrier FC's Rich Clough got a free kick in the 28th minute. Albert Føreland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niall Deacon. Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cheeky Nuts United's Ken Nordtveit got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Ken Nordtveit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheeky Nuts United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staffy Terrier FC the free kick. In the 40th minute, Ken Nordtveit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niall Deacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stian Hammeren in the 48th minute of the match. In the 50th minute Cheeky Nuts United were awarded a corner. Øyvind Vestøl went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Staffy Terrier FC's goalie and right to Arthur Gregersen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Staffy Terrier FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Niall Deacon made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ken Nordtveit sent off a good shot on target. Stian Systad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Staffy Terrier FC defense, Ken Nordtveit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niall Deacon. The Staffy Terrier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niall Deacon should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Fredrik Sandum in the 70th minute really tested Niall Deacon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Stian Systad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Niall Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niall Deacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Systad, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ken Nordtveit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Niall Deacon made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Cheeky Nuts United's Arthur Gregersen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niall Deacon. Niall Deacon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Cheeky Nuts United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
