With a left leg Jairo Morientes saved Hispania from getting behind. Dionisio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etxeberri Cuevas in the 26th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Omar Arlegui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Morientes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dionisio Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quilino Talavera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romelio Ordaz in the 47th minute of play forced Hispania's goalkeeper Jairo Morientes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
