Agustin Oriol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Corderall hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Desafio FC's Lázaro Chucho got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Desafio FC booed when Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fox Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Abeitia hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Agustin Oriol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Pickartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Desafio FC's Albano Abeitia in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tiger's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Tiger booed when Desafio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Edmund Schoettle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustin Oriol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Schoettle, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Vicente Huly hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Elis Färber, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 43 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Pickartz. A hard shot 45 in the game by Albano Abeitia from a close distance when the talented Wolf Poll managed to make a qualified save. Tiger's players were relieved.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Schoettle in the 52nd minute of play forced Desafio FC's goalkeeper Agustin Oriol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Vicente Huly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Schoettle. Ulrich Pickartz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Agustin Oriol made a huge save. Edmund Schoettle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustin Oriol came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmund Schoettle slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. Tiger made a substitution. Rolf Matzken replaced Axel Schäuble. In the 67th minute, Nereo George hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Desafio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Chucho to maneuver through the defense. Tiger's Joseph Sittarz was substituted for Albrecht Kowalke. In the 72nd minute, Elis Färber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Oriol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Lordi in the 76th minute of play forced Tiger's goalkeeper Wolf Poll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Oriol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulko Schwaderer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Obeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Desafio FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nereo George hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiger's Fulko Schwaderer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agustin Oriol. That made the score 0-5 after 88 minutes of play. In the 91st minute Higinio Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolf Poll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tiger had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
