An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Bialakowski in the 16th minute of play forced United 11 FC's goalkeeper Östen Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, United 11 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. Wojciech Molski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Eric Fransson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juliusz Giertych was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Östen Carlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasyl Bator's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Eric Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Giertych having to interfere. After 30 played minutes United 11 FC got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Skoog. After a defensive mix-up in United 11 FC's zone, Grzegorz Bialakowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Carlsson came out of the goal and Grzegorz Bialakowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Leif Östensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. United 11 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Östensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Jörgen Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Östen Carlsson was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Wojciech Molski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wojciech Molski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Eric Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Giertych having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Eric Fransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juliusz Giertych was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eric Fransson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, United 11 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Juliusz Giertych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Fransson in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, United 11 FC's Matthias Stephansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juliusz Giertych made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 76 minutes of play, United 11 FC's Eric Fransson made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juliusz Giertych was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, Magnus Eskilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. United 11 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Irons Chorzów the free kick. Magnus Eskilsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match.
