In the 2nd minute, Cristinel Focșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Focșa in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Ceresso saved Premier FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandria Team08's zone, Dadá da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Traian Sucigan came out of the goal and Dadá da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Premier FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alexandre Matos hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Albert Balint. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá da Costa in the 20th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Traian Sucigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Dadá da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexandria Team08's Traian Sucigan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Premier FC's Rubens Maia to fire away a dangerous shot which Traian Sucigan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Traian Sucigan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aílton de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Vintilă Bâru took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Ceresso. Edmundo Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Premier FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Joélson Palmeira hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Manuel Amânaloae dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edmundo Ceresso, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Vintilă Bâru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo Ceresso having to make a save. Edmundo Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Manuel Amânaloae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Premier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Maia to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Amânaloae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Ceresso having to interfere. Traian Sucigan made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dadá da Costa sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Matos hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Dadá da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
