The supporters of Sipo EC booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Carson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcinho Vianna took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Keene. Luiz Guilherme de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Benjamim Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidney Keene. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamim Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Carson's late challenge caught a Sipo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Carson helped the player get up and apologised. Benjamim Trancoso shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 44 minutes into the match, Décio Messias notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Creekers's Sidney Keene. Sidney Keene was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcinho Vianna to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamim Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sidney Keene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Creekers's Gary Gamble nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Maciel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Creekers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Marcinho Vianna scored to the left of an out of position Sidney Keene, making the score, 1-6. 82 minutes into the game, Sipo EC's Décio Messias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidney Keene made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. Creekers's Sidney Keene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Creekers from getting a goal against them. Luiz Guilherme de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sidney Keene made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Luiz Guilherme de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Keene made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Messias in the 94th minute. Cacá Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Gamble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
