Miromir Gabis started the match with the kick off. Edwin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Tavares in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when RKS Królewscy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Kosel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diguinho Velloso during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. RKS Królewscy's Piotr Cebula couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Buritama Sports. Miromir Gabis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gilberto Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Patryk Kosel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buritama Sports were furious when André Luís Salgado was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave RKS Królewscy a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Piotr Cebula, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buritama Sports's Gilberto Paraense. 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Gilberto Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miromir Gabis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Gabis got free with Gilberto Paraense in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Miromir Gabis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Paraense was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Edwin van der Saar came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Diguinho Velloso. But to his dismay, Diguinho Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Skonieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 minutes, Witomir Zagrodny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RKS Królewscy and the Buritama Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, RKS Królewscy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Zagrodny to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Rosa. Patryk Kosel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lenílson Velloso to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Lenílson Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Tiaguinho Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patryk Kosel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gilberto Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Diguinho Velloso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edwin van der Saar, passed just outside the right post. Edwin van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Velloso in the 68th minute of the match. Frédson Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Edwin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Edwin van der Saar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Diguinho Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Edwin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin van der Saar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sydney Rosa. After a rather tough play, RKS Królewscy's Miromir Gabis got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Stefan Skonieczny managed to get in a good position for a shot. RKS Królewscy's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Skonieczny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
