Erik Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Saar having to interfere. RKS Królewscy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Alf Törnkvist scored to the left of an out of position Edwin van der Saar, making the score, 1-0. Östen Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Cebula in the 32nd minute of play. Nils Tunberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Alf Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edmund Runberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the AC Mayonnaise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Runberg couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miromir Gabis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerzy Zieba might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Östen Walroth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Zieba ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Christopher Dahlberg hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Jerzy Zieba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patryk Kosel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Östen Walroth made a huge save. Kjell-Arne Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Saar having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Miromir Gabis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Mayonnaise's Kjell-Arne Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerzy Zieba struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Östen Walroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RKS Królewscy. The crowd rose to their feet as RKS Królewscy's Patryk Kosel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Östen Walroth. That made the score 1-1 after 86 minutes of play. In the 92nd match minute, RKS Królewscy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Kosel to maneuver through the defense. Alf Törnkvist scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin van der Saar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
