Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Nazım Baykam made the kick off and thus started the match. Christer Waaler made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Nazım Baykam sent off a good shot on target. Hazım Tüney hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ARAKLISPOR's Hazım Tüney got a free kick in the 18th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Åsnes's Jack Huse tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to ARAKLISPOR getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Baycan Gelenbe hit a great ball. Erkan Orkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Vie in the 21st minute of the match. Erkan Orkut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Alnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Morten Sundseth came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Åsnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morten Sundseth couldn't finish the play. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esat Nesefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Endre Svensen lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of ARAKLISPOR booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endre Svensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Arın Ferhat Hürol got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christer Waaler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 37 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Morten Sundseth. Jonathan Vie took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erkan Orkut. Erkan Orkut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Baycan Gelenbe came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Åsnes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kim Alnes was the one to do the kick off. Nazım Baykam scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Waaler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Morten Sundseth came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Åsnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morten Sundseth couldn't finish the play. Erkan Orkut stood somewhat misplaced when Jonathan Vie came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Erkan Orkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Alnes in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mithat Kamil in the 67th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Mithat Kamil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Waaler. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mithat Kamil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of ARAKLISPOR booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morten Sundseth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Nazım Baykam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Waaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Jon-Egil Gjelsvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the ARAKLISPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Jon-Egil Gjelsvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Waaler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nazım Baykam's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 82 minutes of play, Åsnes's Jonathan Vie made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erkan Orkut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erkan Orkut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Sundseth, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Mithat Kamil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christer Waaler was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3.
