The FC BaLiSt fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when FC BaLiSt's Leontin Vâlcu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute, Emil Șeimeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cosmin Dragu came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the FC BaLiSt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmin Dragu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Castelar F.C. defense, Leontin Vâlcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Ireno. The Castelar F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Ireno should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Vâlcu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Ireno saved Castelar F.C. from getting behind. Gervasio Ireno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosmin Dragu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 44th minute Emil Șeimeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Șeimeanu scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Ireno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Joseph to strike the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Șeimeanu in the 51st minute of the match. Gervasio Ireno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Șeimeanu went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 57th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Dragu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Joseph in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Baran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Castelar F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Emil Șeimeanu scored to the left of an out of position Gervasio Ireno, making the score, 0-5. FC BaLiSt's Florin Braica was substituted for Răzvan Frumuzache. FC BaLiSt's Sergiu Marin was substituted for Laurențiu Encica. After a defensive mix-up in FC BaLiSt's zone, Hipolito Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Baran came out of the goal and Hipolito Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florin Braica struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gervasio Ireno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BaLiSt. In the 88th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Secară to maneuver through the defense. Emil Șeimeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Ireno having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded FC BaLiSt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Castelar F.C..
