The tension between the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca and the FC Bullen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute Ubaldo Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Ubaldo Vedillo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rigoberto Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Timmy Jernberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Vedillo went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håkan Wahlnäs to make the kick off. Timmy Jernberg had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Isaias Baladi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, FC Bullen's Timmy Jernberg got control of the ball when Ubaldo Vedillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henric Vedholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Håkan Wahlnäs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rigoberto Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Johnsson came free, but Rigoberto Mancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Henric Vedholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Bullen's much stronger midfield.
