Spectators: 7656 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinei Palmeira started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Izaltina FAD's Claudinei Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Roger Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Palmeira in the 6th minute of the match. Roger Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Vítor Duarte in the 7th minute. In the 15th minute Tiaguinho Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Izaltina FAD's Claudinei Palmeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Carneiro. Roger Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar de Godoi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Bruno Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Novaes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Izaltina FAD's Tony da Mata. Tony da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Furlan. After a defensive mix-up in Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's zone, Claudinei Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Carneiro came out of the goal and Claudinei Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Palmeira in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Oscar de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Tiaguinho Novaes made the kick off in the second half. Laerte Furlan's late challenge caught a Izaltina FAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Furlan. In the 59th minute, Benjamin Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Ivo Cunha got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, José Vítor Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Carneiro. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Vítor Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 66th match minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Tony da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiaguinho Novaes's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 79 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Jean Torres. In the 85th minute, Claudinei Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudinei Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Izaltina FAD fully deserved thier win.
