After 7 minutes, Aziz Safih mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carno FK and the S.E. Cachoeirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Carno FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Safih to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Safih didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Prata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carno FK's Batı Özbilek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Carno FK's Ali Berkant Özgun got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute Frederico Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batı Özbilek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otávio Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Otávio Arce got a free kick in the 18th minute. A collision led to Carno FK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Aziz Safih hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Berkant Özgun got free with Betão de Amaral in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 27th minute, but Betão de Amaral got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving S.E. Cachoeirinha hanging dry this time. After 31 played minutes Carno FK got a freekick which was hit by Aziz Safih. Batı Özbilek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Moreira. Hüsmen Yiğithan struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Betão de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carno FK. Edinho Mello's late challenge caught a Carno FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Mello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Edinho Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hüsmen Yiğithan came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Carno FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsmen Yiğithan couldn't finish the play. Betão de Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kamber Özakıncı went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Yiğithan in the 58th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Berkant Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
