Frédson Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Internet XAire's Marco Sergi in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arnaldo Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Sergi came free, but Frédson Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Freire having to interfere. Cláudio Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Martxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When Narciso Ugutz fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internet XAire's protests and gave Narciso Ugutz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Internet XAire getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Narciso Ugutz hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ravi Ninho to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, André Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Freire having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Delmar Fresco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xiboquinha FC's Frédson Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Xiboquinha FC's David Guedes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed David Guedes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Xiboquinha FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and David Guedes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 70th minute, David Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Benedicto Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frédson Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Internet XAire were awarded a corner. Benedicto Selatse went to the cornerflag to take it. Benedicto Selatse made a great header on Internet XAire's corner, it was just that Xiboquinha FC's Frédson Freire managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Internet XAire getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Benedicto Selatse hit a great ball. Duda Veiga hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frédson Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Sergi in the 93rd minute of the match. Frédson Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Fresco in the 96th minute of play.
