Arturo Esiquio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arturo Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Tâlvescu in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Faro to make the kick off. Emerald's Sorin Jitaru got his second yellow card of the match in the 50th minute. The referee ordered Sorin Jitaru off the ground. After 51 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Jitaru. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Diculescu got free with Arturo Esiquio in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
