Lex Brunt kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Metapalo FC's Baldomero Pello got control of the ball when Leendert Kremer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 minutes, Enrique Errapel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metapalo FC and the FCF north players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Errapel. Tobias Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto de Vlieger having to interfere. Humberto de Vlieger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leendert Kremer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 28 minutes FCF north's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Faustino Kaiet who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tobias Damario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FCF north's Humberto de Vlieger did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Damario in the 29th minute of play forced FCF north's goalkeeper Humberto de Vlieger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto de Vlieger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Damario in the 37th minute of the match. Humberto de Vlieger came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Metapalo FC's Tobias Damario. But to his dismay, Tobias Damario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 47thth minute of the game Albano Austin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCF north's Humberto de Vlieger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Austin made a kick off. The supporters of FCF north booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Metapalo FC's Baldomero Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leendert Kremer in the 58th minute of play. FCF north's Allard Meppelink got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Damario got free with Humberto de Vlieger in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes FCF north got a freekick which was hit by Tonnie Mueller. Tobias Damario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 minutes of play Metapalo FC's Enrique Errapel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Faustino Kaiet hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leendert Kremer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Pello was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When Dario Chuse fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metapalo FC's protests and gave Dario Chuse a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Chuse to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, FCF north's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Austin came free, but Humberto de Vlieger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metapalo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
