Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Brugge United's Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Cederique Neels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brugge United's Steff Caers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Humberto de Vlieger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steff Caers was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Eric Huizen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eric Huizen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Brugge United's Steff Caers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniël Spiljard in the 12th minute of play. Daniël Spiljard scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steff Caers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Van den Berge. Eric Huizen took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steff Caers. Steff Caers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Steff Caers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jelmer Ax in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, FCF north's Tonnie Mueller ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Steff Caers. Steff Caers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Carlos Colebrants kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Eric Huizen could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Steff Caers however easily saved by the left post. Brugge United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jelmer Ax 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniël Spiljard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steff Caers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniël Spiljard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricky Teunissen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Humberto de Vlieger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Steff Caers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonnie Mueller, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Humberto de Vlieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Colebrants, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Jelmer Ax came free, but Steff Caers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joppe Vandeput fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brugge United's protests and gave Joppe Vandeput a yellow card for diving instead. Steff Caers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniël Spiljard in the 76th minute of the match. Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Humberto de Vlieger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Andre Vos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCF north's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brugge United the free kick. After 86 minutes of play, FCF north's Jelmer Ax made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steff Caers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Daniël Spiljard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steff Caers was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the FCF north players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
