The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Magne Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Kania Gostyń's Adam Walkowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rickard Söder. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Mieszko Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Lövkvist in the 6th minute of the match. Strömsbro IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Billberg in the 7th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Magne Håkansson advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 8th minute. Boruc Karbowski succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kania Gostyń's zone, Thomas Lövkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Gruchacz came out of the goal and Thomas Lövkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Paul Hellström notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Kania Gostyń's Mieszko Gruchacz. Mieszko Gruchacz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emil Traczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Söder having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Lövkvist came free, but Mieszko Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Adam Walkowski made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Söder. Strömsbro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Adam Walkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Bernt Löfskog came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Löfskog couldn't finish the play. When Kania Gostyń's Adam Walkowski in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Strömsbro IF's goalie prevented a goal. Rickard Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Walkowski in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Walkowski was the one to do the kick off. Rickard Söder came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kania Gostyń's Adam Walkowski. But to his dismay, Adam Walkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Bernt Löfskog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mieszko Gruchacz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Kania Gostyń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miromir Kolacki to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Thomas Lövkvist put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mieszko Gruchacz. Rickard Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Lövkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mieszko Gruchacz having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Löfskog to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Kaczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Strömsbro IF's Thomas Lövkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mieszko Gruchacz. Mieszko Gruchacz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-4. 86 minutes into the game, Bernt Löfskog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strömsbro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kania Gostyń the free kick. Strömsbro IF's Rickard Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Kaczynski in the 94th minute of play. Rickard Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Kaczynski in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
