Mariano Heriberto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of KIA KAHA booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Ralf Blomqvist made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Nahia. Barsa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mariano Heriberto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Benne Cider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petter Bergman to make the kick off. Stig-Ove Kjellkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Teodosio Nahia made a huge save. With a little luck, Barsa FC's Teodosio Nahia got control of the ball when Stig-Ove Kjellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.
