In the 6th minute, Martin Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arsenio Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Tulio in the 11th minute of the match. Gaspar Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Maiorga having to interfere. Arsenio Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Tulio in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Tevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes, Rodrigo Braña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LTA FC and the Caballeritos del Baile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Braña hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Bartoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arsenio Maiorga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimiro Bartoli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Luis Bakar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Silvestre Franco came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by LTA FC's Martin Palermo. But to his dismay, Martin Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luis Bakar took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Franco. Silvestre Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Arsenio Maiorga came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Caballeritos del Baile's Filiberto Meder. But to his dismay, Filiberto Meder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Cisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Tulio in the 46th minute of play. Arsenio Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Veronica in the 47th minute of the match. The Caballeritos del Baile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LTA FC were winning 1-4.

Arsenio Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Ralondo to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Ovidio Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Franco made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Luis Bakar sent off a good shot on target. LTA FC's Rodrigo Quintan was substituted for Erubiel Dominix. LTA FC's Virgilio Oton was substituted for Ivan Bernad. In the 67th minute, Vladimiro Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Palermo in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Quintan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Meder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsenio Maiorga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Oton came free, but Silvestre Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Meder in the 85th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Tulio in the 90th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Meder came free, but Arsenio Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Caballeritos del Baile's Leonides Tulio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Maiorga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4.
